A print company has been announced as the sponsor of the Best Social Media Marketing category of this year’s Dorset Echo Industry Awards.

Sherrens, which is based in Weymouth, has been involved with the awards since their launch 2016, and sponsored the category last year.

Clive Garman, Director of Sherrens, said: “Following the success of the Dorset Echo Industry Awards, we felt that we wanted to continue to support this prestigious event. You have a great evening and you get to meet innovative businesses big and small and you get to give an award to the winner!

“Sherrens' roots are based on traditional printing methods, however the introduction of digital and large format print has allowed us to service our customer’s needs. Marketing has gone in the same direction via Social media, understanding this growth area and the impact that it has on businesses was our reason to sponsor the best at social media marketing category.”

The Dorset Echo Industry Awards aim to celebrate the superb section of industry in our area and to highlight the many companies, across myriad sectors, which make such a huge contribution to our economy.

As well as this, the awards bring together the best of businesses in the DT postcode sector, recognising and showcasing their achievements.

Businesses are welcome to nominate themselves for an award. Or, anyone outside a business interested in its impact on the wider community and local economy can enter a nomination in any of the categories.

The winners of each category will receive £250 of advertising in the Dorset Echo or on dorsetecho.co.uk and will also be featured in the category winners’ coverage in the Dorset Echo and online at dorsetecho.co.uk
