Emergency services were called to a crash on the A31 at Bere Regis.

The crash occurred just off the Shell garage roundabout.

It involved a white Mini Cooper and an HGV lorry.

More problems were caused by a coach which got stuck trying to avoid the obstruction by attempting to turn around.

The road was closed at The World’s End pub at Almer, the Roundhouse Roundabout at Sturminster Marshall and the Shell garage.

Police were called at 2.17pm.

Fire crews from Bere Regis, Poole and Blandford attended the crash.

No one was trapped and crews made the scene safe before passing one casualty over to the ambulance service.

South Western Ambulance Service said they were called at 2.10pm.

A female patient was treated at the scene and has been taken to Poole Hospital with minor injuries.

The lorry driver, 52, was uninjured.

Dorset Echo:

Police on the scene said a coach attempting to turn around due to the collision got stuck and was blocking the road.
