RAIL passengers are facing disruption this morning between Weymouth and Bournemouth.

Earlier this morning, the line was blocked in both directions due to a problem with a level crossing in the Poole area.

South Western Railway said the level crossing had lost all its power, but Network Rail staff were now able to operate it to allow trains to pass through the area.

All lines have now been reopened but trains running between Weymouth and Bournemouth may still be delayed up to 30 minutes or be revised.

Turbulence is expected to continue until 10am, and follows several days of major disruption on the line.
