This week we are yet again indebted to Andy Hutchings for allowing us to rummage though his extensive and inspiring collection to bring you images of beautiful Dorset from a bygone age.

This week we venture out to Lulworth which has changed little over the millenia.

Boats come and go while visitors marvel at the amazing rock formations that make this such a magical place.

Greenhill Gardens, meanwhile, were as popular 100 years ago as they are now and although Bowleaze Cove has undergone many changes over the years it is still instantly recognisable.

The wonderful ladies’ costumes on display on the Esplanade also hark back to another time. Andy has an unrivalled archive documenting the area down the years and has a particular interest in the postcards of Edwin Seward.
