PASSENGERS in the Weymouth and Dorchester areas are warned rail lines are closed today and tomorrow due to engineering works.
Network Rail is continuing its track renewals in the Dorchester area.
It means there will be no South Western Railway services on the
Waterloo line between Weymouth and Wareham, and no Great Western Railway services between Weymouth and Dorchester West.
A replacement bus service will be in operation and trains will be waiting at Wareham and Dorchester West.
Passengers should check with operators or National Rail Enquiries before travelling.
The track renewal work also took place last weekend which saw an engineering train break down on Sunday, causing major disruption.
The line remained closed on Monday and Tuesday while the train was fixed and the line repaired.
