A Woman has suffered "potentially life-threatening injuries" following a crash involving a tractor this morning.
The collision happened in Furzebrook Road at 8.45am. Fire crews from Wareham and Poole attended to cut the casualty from her vehicle.
She was then flown to hospital in the air ambulance.
The road was closed throughout the morning, but has now reopened.
The casualty is a woman from Nuneaton. The driver of the tractor, a 33-year-old local man, was uninjured.
A spokesperson from the South Western Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 8.45am. A road ambulance and the air ambulance attended.
"We are currently conveying a female patient by air ambulance to Southampton General Hospital.
"She was trapped for some time."
A spokesperson from the fire service said: "Crews found a road traffic collision between a tractor and a car with one female severely trapped.
"The female casualty was extricated by the crews and left in the care of the ambulance service."
Police are calling for witnesses to come forward by calling 101.
