Thunderstorms will likely continue into tomorrow, the Met Office has warned.

Two yellow weather warnings have been issued- meaning be aware - for rain, and cover Dorset and other parts of the UK.

The first warning is in place from midnight tonight to 6am tomorrow.

The Met Office says that whilst many areas will see small amounts of rain a few locations may be hit with some very heavy rainfall with 30mm possible within an hour and perhaps up to 80mm over three hours. Along with this hail and thunder are likely as well as some strong gusts.

Another weather warning has been issued for tomorrow and will be in force between 1pm to 8pm.

The Met Office says that during this time there could be around 25-35mm of rain within an hour with the potential for 50-60mm of rain over two to three hours.

The Met Office has also warned of the flooding of homes and business, as well as damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds.  They added that fast flowing or deep floodwater is possible, and could cause danger to life, while spray and sudden flooding were likely and result in difficult driving conditions.
