A Business has told of its success after winning a national tourism award.
Two businesses in Dorset were given Visit England Awards for Excellence at its national awards ceremony, which took place at the Bath Assembly Rooms last month..
Loose Reins, a glamping/horse riding business, received a bronze award along with Moors Valley Country Park and Forest, which is near Ringwood.
Loose Reins is based on the edge of the Blackmore Vale near Blandford and won a New Tourism Business Award, while Moors Valley Country Park and Forest won a Large Visitor Attraction of the Year Award.
Michelle Gibb, owner of Loose Reins said: “We are very proud to have been awarded the Bronze award, meaning we are 3rd in the whole country in the 'New Tourism Business' category! We even got to meet Kirstie Allsopp who was the guest presenter this year! A fantastic end to a very exciting awards season for Loose Reins.”
She added: "We are the only place in the country offering luxury accommodation and western horse-riding. It is brilliant to have this recognition, our guests have told us how good we are and it is nice to be recognised by our peers and experts."
