I am writing to express concern at why there was a speed camera van in Frampton at 5pm on Friday, May 25, simply because I have never seen one in Maiden Newton where there are shops, a nursery, a school, a youth club and a pub.
If speed is a matter of public safety and not revenue, surely we should have one here?
Children walking and riding their bikes on narrow paths to school are often rushed past by speeding traffic. Today a lorry came thundering through as they often do, making several people very worried about their children’s safety, especially as the path drops down and cars often mount it. What has to happen for our village to have safer roads?
