A dog was rescued after falling 40ft from a edge on Portland.
The incident happened on Sunday evening at Cheyne Weares car park on Southwell Road.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 6.30pm that a Yorkshire terrier, called Possum, fell from the edge and became stuck in tree branches.
One crew from Portland and the technical rescue team attended the incident.
Using rope equipment, the team sent one member of the edge to retrieve Possum and reunite her with her worried owner.
The dog was rescued by 7.15pm.
