With some dismay I note that more road works are due to blight the motorist. Junction improvement work. This time on Abbotsbury Road. Why?
When are Dorset County Highways going to stop wasting hundreds of thousands if not millions of pounds, on junction improvements, when these junctions do not need improving.
Take Chalbury corner, that’s been made more dangerous by narrowing the approach to the roundabout.
The improvements on North Quay has done nothing, it’s the same as before.
Instead of wasting tax payers’ money on improving junctions that don’t need improving, why not spend the money on filling in all the pot holes that are making travelling more dangerous.
I can’t help but wonder just how many accidents can be attributed to poorly maintained road surfaces.
