Lifeboat crews helped a man suffering from heat exhaustion at Durdle Door Beach yesterday.
Inshore lifeboat crews from Weymouth RNLI were launched at 6.27pm on Monday, June 25 at the request of Solent Coastguard.
South West Ambulance Service had requested help in transferring a patient who was suffering from heat exhaustion from the beach to a waiting ambulance in Lulworth Cove.
The Inshore lifeboat arrived on scene at 6.42pm and rendezvoused with the Paramedics and between them transferred a 47- year-old male onto the lifeboat for the short trip to Lulworth Cove, arriving at 7.07pm.
