Temperatures have finally dropped in Dorset, but it's still going to be a warm weekend.

Today will see highs of 22 degrees with little wind, with tomorrow seeing highs of 23 degrees - although it may feel a lot hotter in with the crowds at this weekend's Pommery Dorset Seafood Festival.

Weymouth could see some rain on Monday, but temperatures will still remain high at around 22 degrees.

The rest of the week currently looks hot with some clouds.

The recent hot weather has sparked a warning from the RNLI after numerous people have had to be rescued for heat stroke.

People are therefore being encouraged to take care in the heat.

RNLI volunteer, Helm Tye Shuttleworth said: "This is the second medivac from Durdle Door beach in the last two weeks that Weymouth lifeboats have carried out.

"The RNLI would always advise everyone to take care in this exceptionally hot weather, to drink plenty of water, apply a high factor sun block and not to sit in the full sun for to long."
