The first day of the Pommery Dorset Seafood Festival saw hordes of residents and visitors flock to Weymouth harbourside to try a range of maritime culinary delights, from whole lobsters to fish curry and scallops - and even some vegan offerings.
The festival kicked off at 10.30 am on Saturday, with stalls lining the waterside from the Pavilion Theatre all the way to Town Bridge - and back down the other side of the harbour.

The festival, sponsored by Pommery Champagne, is set to continue on Sunday - and with the good weather forecast to continue, and no England in the World Cup final, stallholders aren't expecting the crowds to thin.
