NORTH DORSET: Power tools were stolen from an outbuilding in Hammoon sometime overnight on Thursday, July 19.

The items stolen include a STIHL chainsaw, a STIHL hedge cutter, a TANAKA strimmer as well as two cans of petrol.

The incident is believed to have happened sometime between 8pm on the Thursday and 9am on the Friday.

WEST DORSET: Arsonists are believed responsible for starting a fire which destroyed a car and a road sign.

Firefighters were called to the A35 roundabout on the Charmouth Bypass at 2.15am on Tuesday, July 17. Crews from Charmouth and Bridport attended.

Police were called to reports of a car well alight. Officers believe the car was abandoned and set alight.

PURBECK: A diagnostic computer was stolen from Moonfleet Garage, Harmans Cross, overnight on Saturday, July 14.

It is a Modis Ultra GB Snap-on 15.4 diagnostic.
