Key indicators for borough council performance are largely on target.
The council's management committee will be told on August 14 that the budget is expected to be £64,000 to the good come March 2019 on an annual spend of £8.4 million.
And after failing to meet the target for affordable homes in the last financial year the borough is now said to be on target for between 50 and 65 affordable homes in the current year.
For those buying and selling property previous long waits for searches are now down to an average of just five days.
And there is good news for income with car parking fees with the recent good weather attracting extra visitors although this is not quantified.
The report also points to some areas where performance is not as good as it should be – new rules on helping homeless people has increase expenditure and the target time of dealing with parking charge challenges within 10 days is currently not being met.
