Officers are appealing for the public’s help to trace a man who has gone missing from Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester.

Piotr Tutak, 38, had been receiving medical treatment at the hospital when he left unexpectedly at around 4.10pm on Friday 10 August 2018.

He is described as white, five feet ten inches tall, of slim build with short shaved hair. He was wearing a blue striped shirt, black trousers and black shoes.

Enquiries are underway to locate him.

Chief Inspector Alan Setchell of Dorset Police, said: “We are extremely concerned for Piotr's welfare as he had been receiving treatment in the hospital and left before he could be fully assessed. He suffers from epilepsy and left his medication at the hospital so we want to find him to ensure he receives the appropriate medical care.

“I would urge anyone who has seen Piotr or a man matching the description given to please contact Dorset Police immediately.

“Finally, if Piotr sees this appeal I would urge him to make contact with us so we know he is safe.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Piotr’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at dorset.police.uk, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting incident number 10:298.
