A series of roadshow events are being held where residents can voice their opinions on potential housing sites in Weymouth and west Dorset identified in the local plan.
West Dorset District Council and Weymouth & Portland Borough Council’s ‘Preferred Options’ document of their Joint Local Plan Review is now live.
Residents as well as businesses, organisations and statutory bodies will now have their opportunity to share their views in an eight-week consultation.
Roadshow events will take place at St George’s Centre, Portland on August 30; South Walks House, Dorchester on August 31; Crossways Village Hall on September 4; Beaminster Town Hall on September 7; Redlands Sports Hub, Weymouth on September 12; Bridport leisure centre on September 13; and Willowbed Hall, Chickerell on September 14.
Residents can share their comments through the consultation form online, by email or post. The online form is available at: dorsetforyou.com/local-plan-review
