Weymouth College’s foundation studies students were joined by family and friends for an awards and celebration day.

Sheena Duncan, head of school for foundation studies and Weymouth College Principal, Nigel Evans presented awards to more than 100 students.

Ms Duncan said: "Today is a chance for us all to celebrate the immense amount of work and effort our students have put into achieving their individual goals this year.

"Those goals are many and varied but all require an immense amount of commitment and drive. I couldn’t be prouder of all our students and indeed the team here at Weymouth College who are so instrumental in helping each student identify, work towards and achieve those goals."
