A WOMAN was rescued by emergency service crews after injuring herself on a Dorset beach.
SWANAGE inshore lifeboat (ILB), ambulance and coastguard crews helped to evacuate the injured female from the Northern end of Swanage Beach shortly before 5pm yesterday.
The female had a suspected dislocated shoulder and required transfer down the beach and then to a waiting ambulance.
The lifeboat was quickly on scene, then along with the volunteers from Swanage Coastguard and ambulance personnel the casualty was made comfortable, moved down the beach and then in to the ambulance.
