70 marked batteries were stolen from a shooting school in Wareham.
Batteries which power clay pigeon contraptions were stolen from Purbeck Shooting School sometime during the period of March 9 to March 12. The batteries were reportedly marked with blue paint in order to identify them.
Purbeck police say the batteries wouldn't be used for vehicles as they give out a different charge to a car battery and are normally used for leisure goods caravans.
Anyone with information relating to the whereabouts of the batteries should call police on 101 quoting reference number 55190037636.
