Man dies after suffering medical incident at Abbotsbury
A man has sadly been pronounced dead after suffering a medical incident in Abbotsbury.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "We received a report from the ambulance service at 3.54pm on Wednesday 4 November 2020 requesting assistance in relation to a medical incident on Chapel Lane in Abbotsbury near Weymouth.
"Officers attended and very sadly a man was pronounced dead at the scene. His death is not being treated as suspicious and his family has been informed. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time."
The road was closed and reopened at around 5.25pm.
The incident affected traffic along the coast road through Abbotsbury.
