FIREFIGHTERS have been sent to investigate a car fire at a home in a Dorset village.
Fire engines from Blandford and Bere Regis fire stations were sent to a home in Winterborne Kingston, near Blandford, at 9.19 this morning after they received reports of smoke coming from a car underneath the porch.
When they arrived, the fire, which involved the car's electrical components, had gone out.
A spokesman for DWFRS said: "It turned out to be a small fire that was involving the electrical components under the bonnet of the vehicle.
"Luckily the fire was out on arrival and the crews did an inspection only."
