ONE of the stars of blockbuster movie The Boat That Rocked has arrived in Portland Port - a ship.
Filming begins within two weeks and the ship at the centre of the action has arrived emblazoned with the words Radio Rocks.
Weymouth and Portland Borough Council communications manager Jacqui Gisborne has been helping the film crew settle in and prepare for filming.
She said: "Some of the crew have never visited this area before and they have really been looking forward to it.
"Although it is going to be really hard work for them we want them to enjoy their days off. They plan to be here for four to five weeks and each member of cast and crew has been given a discount Pebble Card to help them live, work and use local businesses and services within our community.
"We want to welcome the crew as we want them to feel part of the community and really enjoy their time here as they will be living here for so long."
Film stars including Bill Nighy and Oscar-winner Philip Seymour Hoffman will soon be arriving for the Richard Curtis movie.
