A BOY was pulled from rough seas by his father after getting into difficulty off Charmouth yesterday.

Two people called 999 after spotting the lad yesterday afternoon.

Elsewhere, Portland Coastguard kept watch over the chemical tanker Hornisse when she suffered engine problems in the Channel. Crew on the ship carried out repairs and continued on her way to the South of France.
