ALL former members of the Portland Badger Bunch and others associated in the past with this St John Ambulance organisation are invited to Bertie Badger’s 21st birthday celebrations.
The party will be at the St John Hut in Easton Lane on Saturday from 10-11.30am when a special celebration cake will be cut and the Badger Birthday Trophy will be presented.
The Badger Bunch was started in 1987 by Terry Shakespeare and Joyce Talbot with a membership of six youngsters which has increased greatly over the years and many of the members moved on to become cadets and senior members of St John Ambulance.
Mrs Shakespeare, who is superintendent at Portland St John, said: “I hope that lots of people come along to wish Bertie a happy coming of age and renew acquaintance with others that they may have lost touch with during the intervening years.”
