POLICE and community leaders are holding several street corner meetings to tackle concerns.
Police and community support officers from the Portland Safer Neighbourhood Team are hitting the streets in the Partners and Communities Together (Pact) initiative.
They will talk to the people from the community on a one-to-one basis about their concerns on safety issues in the area.
Police along with councils, fire and youth services will then work together to deal with the concerns of the community.
Anyone is welcome to go along and talk to them.
Meetings will be in the Hambro Road car park from 3pm to 5pm and in Victoria Square from 6pm to 8pm on November 26.
There will also be meetings at the Weston Road shops from 3pm to 5pm and in Easton Square from 6pm to 8pm on November 27.
