  • TAMARISK Farm, the organic farm in West Bexington was the subject of Langton Village Club’s last talk.

Ellen Simon visited the club after their AGM, turning out in foul weather for the occasion. The farm run on organic lines is a host to seldom seen wild flowers including several kinds of orchids. The fields are not ploughed up to the boundaries leaving habitat for small creatures and birds, so reports Fay Easy of Langton Herring.

Tamarisk produces its own variety of strong wheat which is grown and milled on the farm.

Anyone wanting to visit the farm can contact them on 01308 897781 or see more details on www.tamariskfarm.co.uk

  • LANGTON Herring Parish Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 22 at 7.30pm in the village hall. All are welcome.
