HONEST boss Ian Hutchinson has revealed “changes will be imminent” after watching his side capitulate against Brad-ford Town.

Bridport conceded four goals in a frantic 20-minute spell to slip to their second successive reversal.

And it was how the Bees folded that angered Hutchinson, who vented his fury in a frank post-match interview.

He said: “We were absolutely magnificent for 70 minutes but too many people buried their heads in the sand when it went wrong.

“There are a certain few that go through the motions and go missing and I’m not standing for it anymore.

“I would rather have 11 winners out there that may not be as technically gifted as others but play for the shirt.

“If they want to behave as they did in the final 20 minutes then they will be on their bikes.”

Wednesday’s roller-coaster encoun-ter leaves Bridport nursing a record of one win in eight since victory over Hengrove Athletic on March 14.

In-form Toolstation Western League Division One side Westbury United visit St Mary’s Field tomorrow (3pm) unbeaten in their last five outings.

And with the Bees on a downward spiral, they will be confident of extending the five-point gap that separates the two teams.

But Hutchinson’s charges can take heart from their corresponding fixture triumph where midfielder Russell Legg scored a majestic winner.

Fresh from serving his ban, Legg should return to the starting XI along with Ryan Hayter, who has declared himself available.

Looking ahead to tomorrow’s clash, Hutchinson said: “Every game is tough for us at the moment but when you work hard you get rewarded.

“We played them up there and did well and another wonder goal from Russell would be nice.”

Frontman Ashley Clarke, who bagged his first goals this year against Bradford, also received special praise from Hutchinson.

The Bees’ chief added: “I’m delighted for Ashley because he’s been working hard in training. He’s got a couple of scrappy goals but any goal is a good goal.”
