AN EVENT to help people fight mental health problems is being held on Weymouth beach tomorrow.
The Time to Change event is being held between 2pm and 6pm as part of the nine-day Weymouth Beach Live concerts during the Spirit of the Sea Festival.
Dorset Community Health Services (DCHS), the charity Rethink and the Dorset Mental Health Forum are organising the event to help people look after their mental health and advise about the services on offer.
Health professionals will be on hand to give advice and there will be information to take away.
There will be two marquees with videos of people talking about what it is like to experience mental health problems and what can be done to help plus other information.
Ann Burridge, who is the primary care mental health development worker at DCHS, said: ‘We are working all the time to try to make mental health services more accessible to people who need them.”
