HARDWORKING Susan Blake has retired as clerk to Broadmayne Parish Council and this was recognised at a recent informal gathering of colleagues and friends.
Presented by chairman, June Salt, Susan was very pleased to receive a framed collage of photographs to act as a reminder of her time working for Broadmayne.
She will be spending her retirement pursuing many other activities.
Susan’s successor is local resident Dr Janet Davis, who is the parish’s footpath officer and she will take up her duties in August.
