YOUNG people have been rewarded, for changing people’s perceptions of teenagers, with a Black and White Ball.
The volunteers celebrated the contributions they have made to their communities by partying the night away at the Corn Exchange in Dorchester. Youngsters were treated to entertainment from local band Hybrid.
The evening, held by Dorset’s youth management team, began with a presentation of youth-led projects that have taken place over the last 12 months.
It was a chance for attendees to hear how local youngsters have been resourceful and passionate about changing misconceptions of youth in society.
