Top award for Wessex Solutions International boss

A WEYMOUTH businessman who is working to build connections between UK companies and the Middle East has received a top industry award.
Simon Biggs, owner and director of Wessex Solutions International (WSI) Limited, received the British Business Forum accolade at a prestigious awards ceremony in Kuwait.
He was presented with a Certificate of Excellence at the 13th Annual British Excellence Awards evening for providing new business opportunities for British companies.
Mr Biggs, who lives in Radipole with his wife and two children, said: “It was like the Oscars, I didn’t know I was going to receive anything.”
Former Royal Marine Mr Biggs launched WSI last August and divides his time between the borough and his office in Kuwait – giving advice to UK companies.
