The Dorset Echo has been shortlisted in three categories of EDF Energy's London and the South of England Media Awards.
For the second consecutive year, the Dorset Echo is in the running for the prestigious Daily Newspaper of the Year Award.
It has also been shortlisted for Front Page of the Year while reporter Lucy Pearce is nominated for Newcomer of the Year.
The awards ceremony takes place in Surrey on October 21.
