Perhaps if some of the aparatchiks at County Hall had to sit in queues of traffic on Rodwell Road, wait for long-delayed buses, or get stuck on Boot Hill they might have the decency to admit they have made serious mistakes.
“Weymouth Transport Package” is an innocuous phrase. “Weymouth” and “Package” might be true, but transport and its improvement it certainly isn’t.
On a bad day it seems to me more like “Weymouth Transport Wreckage”. And don’t let’s even think what it must have cost the public purse.
