A mystery woman could hold the key to a bus accident which left a Purley man with an agonising back injury earlier this year.
Robert Fischer, from Colescroft Hill, is searching for the female fellow bus passenger who was also involved in the incident on February 28.
Mr Fischer, who has been off work intermittently with his injuries since the accident, is desperately trying to trace other witnesses to the accident to aid him with an insurance claim.
The female passenger was also on the 455 bus when it was forced to break suddenly on Park Street causing her to fall too.
Mr Fischer said: "It was about 6.55am and the bus was turning into Park Street when the driver slammed on his brakes.
"I twisted round and hit my back against a metal bar across the front of the bus. At this point I noticed a woman also fall forward further back along the bus.
"The last letter I got from Transcare Solutions, my insurance company, was asking for any independent witnesses I have.
"I am trying to find the woman who also fell, or any others who were at the bus stop or on the vehicle."
If you can help Robert Fischer contact him on 020 7633 0921.
