2 self-catering cottages situated at the Old Higher Lighthouse Portland Bill, 4 miles south of the sailing academy. A peaceful quiet location. Both cottages have double and twin bedrooms, fully fitted and equipped kitchens, bathrooms with shower over the bath.
Branscombe lodge is a 4 star Visit Britain cottage with the large sitting room upstairs enjoying outstanding sea and coastal views. Other rooms are downstairs, and have sea views. Heating and hot water are provided by £1 coin meter electricity.
Stopes cottage is awaiting grading. It is all on the ground floor, with large bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and cloakroom. Sea views can be enjoyed from the sitting room, kitchen and twin bedroom. Heating and hot water supplied by metered gas
Both cottages are well furnished with TV& DVD. They are kept very clean and have washing machines and drying facilities, full size cookers, microwaves fridge and freezer. Both cottages are surrounded by ornamental gardens with BBQ and garden furniture. Guests have use of outdoor heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The lighthouse tower with its sun lounge/observatory is available to guests and has panoramic sea and coastal views. Ample parking for cars & boats on our private land.
