Well I have to admit that when we arrived in Sheboygan last week and it was freezing cold, I didn't think we would end up having as good a week as we have!
While its been blowing dogs off chains at home, we have had a fantastic week of 15-20knots everyday and gorgeous sunshine!
Training against the Americans we feel we have achieved quite a lot this past week and now we are enjoying a day off before heading to Chicago.
On Sunday and Monday we will race in an open grade 2 in Chicago, in Tom 28 boats and we'll be sailing with our coach, Maurice.
Once that regatta is finished we have had a slight change of plan and will now be heading back up to Sheboygan to race in the Open division of the Nations Cup.
With there not being much racing until the World Championships in December it will be a great opportunity to get some racing in against some different opposition.
We're really looking forward to Chicago later today.....and maybe a spot of shopping along the way! We'll keep you posted on the racing too though.
