A FIRE broke out at Powerstock Primary School near Bridport this morning.
Two fire engines from Bridport and one from Dorchester attended the blaze, which occurred just before 7am, and immediately called for back-up.
A further fire engine from Beaminster and water carrier and specialist equipment from Bridport were dispatched to the school at School Hill, Powerstock.
A Dorset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said 'numerous calls' from the public reported the fire.
