Four further sites have been dropped from the consultation into gypsy and traveller sites in Weymouth and West Dorset.
They are those at South Buckland Farm, Coldharbour; former petrol station Evershot; Three Gates, Leigh, Wintergreen Barn Beaminster.
The two proposed sites which the public are being consulted on in Weymouth and Portland are the land adjacent to the household recycling centre in Lodmoor and the park and ride site near to the Mount Pleasant business park.
In West Dorset the four proposed sites are the Piddlehinton Gypsy Site, the land south of West Stafford West Stafford, the Land east of Coles Lane Yetminster and Shady Side in Beaminster.
The public consultation starts Dorchester and Weymouth starts on Monday.
