POLICE are appealing for information after a driver failed to stop after a collision near Winterbourne Abbas.
A female driver was left ‘badly shaken’ after another car struck her vehicle and drove off.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said an unknown vehicle struck a green Ford Ka on the A35 at around 1pm on Friday.
He added: “The driver of the Ford, a 27-year-old lady from the Plymouth area suffered minor injuries but was left badly shaken by the experience.
“Police do not have a description of the car that failed to stop but can say that the off side mirror would have been smashed and the vehicle made off towards Bridport.”
Anyone with information about the collision is asked to contact PC Rhiannon Stroud of Dorset Police on 101.
