A COMPANY looking to create a wind farm off the Dorset coast will be holding several public consultations in the county.
Eneco, which is hoping to develop the West of Isle of Wight wind farm, will be asking the public about the viewpoints from the coastline and the impacts associated with different parts of the development area, including fishing, diving, recreational activity and commercial shipping, among others.
The public exhibitions will be held at the following venues. Today: from 2pm-8pm at the Mowlem Theatre in Swanage, tomorrow: from 2pm-8pm at the RNLI Lifeboat College in Poole, Thursday: from 2pm-8pm at the Christchurch Borough Council Chambers in Christchurch, Saturday: from 10am-4pm at the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre and on Tuesday, February 28: from 2pm-8pm at the West Moors Memorial Hall in West Moors.
