THE next Giant Wall public workshop will be taking place this Saturday.
It will be held at the Brackenbury Centre Portland from 2pm until 4pm.
The Giant Wall project is building momentum on Portland.
Artwey spokesman Angela Williams said: “At this stage in the project we now have lots of wonderful portraits, most of them by people who wouldn’t think of themselves as ‘Arty’.
“We have a pleasing number of portraits of people who have helped, inspired and encouraged those around them, including Olympic athletes and also many very personal portraits of loved ones.
“We would still like to have portraits of local Dorset ‘heroes’ both well-known and less well-known – who may have inspired through bravery or through sheer persistence against the odds.”
All materials are provided, just bring a photograph of the ‘Giant’ in your life.
