The party starts at 2pm with the children in jubilee themed fancy dress with prizes for the best boy and girl. There will then be a parade around the car park finishing at the community centre.

At 2.45 Vic Banks, magician will be on hand to entertain, followed at 3.30 by the Brownies Promise ceremony.

Then it’s break for a street party tea with ham, cheese and egg sandwiches, sausage rolls, sausages and nibbles. Of course there will also be squash, cakes and biscuits followed by jelly and ice cream.

The fun resumes with a puppet show at 4.30 with an open mike sing- song talent contest then the fabulous More Voices Choir will be entertaining.

Throughout the day there will be a bouncy castle outside and cream teas inside for the adults (£1).

The cost for each child will be a mere 50p which includes food, entertainment and bouncy castle. Children will be given a wrist band to show they have paid. At 7.30 through til midnight there will be a jubilee disco. Children who have paid for the street party will get in free. Adults will cost £1 and all other children 50p entry. There will be light refreshments only but you can bring your own drink if you want.

The disco will reflect all the decades of Her Majesty’s reign, starting with music from the 50’s and working through to the present day.
