THE work of writer Sylvia Townsend Warner will be celebrated at an event in Dorchester on Saturday, June 29.
Dorset County Museum is hosting an International Symposium called Re-Visiting Sylvia Townsend Warner.
The event, which runs from 9am to 6pm, has been organised by the University of Exeter and the Sylvia Townsend Warner Society.
There are a number of expert speakers lined up to talk about the writer, who spent much of her life in Dorset.
Tickets cost £20 for members of the Sylvia Townsend Warner Society and Dorset Natural History and Archaeological Society and £35 for non-members plus a booking free of £1.
