Views on Dorset transport sought
5:30pm Wednesday 4th July 2012 in News
RESIDENTS are being asked for their views on Dorset’s highways and transport services.
Dorset County Council is one of 75 local authorities in England and Wales taking part in the National Highways and Transport Public Satisfaction survey.
The survey, which covers all aspects from the condition of roads to quality of bus links, asks people the same questions so that services can be compared.
Questionnaires will be sent to at least 4,500 residents from Monday and people who received them are urged to take part and return it by August 3.
Council Cabinet member for highways Peter Finney said: “This survey will enable us to understand and respond to the views of local people.
“We need your feedback to help us improve the important services we provide.”

Are we talking pre or post Olympic chaos, we have some of the lowest bus fares in the country here but if you want to get new buses dream on it will NEVER happen I talked to a driver of an old decker and said it had done over 3 million miles and all they get are 2nd 3rd and 4th hand vehicles
