FORMER Weymouth resident Richard Dart is believed to be one of six people arrested in London over a possible plot for a UK attack by extremists.

The Muslim convert, 29, is the son of teachers from Weymouth and was featured in a documentary last year about his sudden conversion to an Islamist extremist called Salahuddin.

He has been outspoken about British involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The raids were part of a pre-planned intelligence-led operation by the Metropolitan Police counter-terror command.
