ARTSREACH presents Miracle Theatre in ‘The Importance of Being Ernest’ on Friday, August 3 at Melbury Osmond Playing Field. Gates open at 6.30pm for a 7.30pm start. There will be a bar during the evening. Tickets for adults cost £9, for under 18’s £7. A family ticket (2+2) costs £28.

Frampton Village Flower Show takes place on Saturday, August 4 from 2.30 until 5pm and on Sunday, August 5 from 3 to 5pm.

Cream teas will once again be served in Frampton Village Hall throughout August. The first date is Sunday, August 5, when the teas will be part of the Village Flower Show event.

There will be a repeat of the presentation given at the meeting in June with pictures of the imagery, windows and other areas that need repair and restoration. There will be some background on the history of the church, as well as ideas and plans for the improvement of the church. People are urged to attend and, if they wish, give suggestions of new ways in which the church can be put to use in order to ensure its future.

The role of the Friends Association will be explained and it is hoped that more people will feel able to lend their support.
