Teenager remanded over woman's murder

A TEENAGER has appeared before Weymouth Magistrates Youth Court charged with murder.
The 16-year-old Weymouth boy, who cannot be identified for legal reasons because he is under 18, appeared this morning following the death of Weymouth woman Leah Whittle.
Her body was found at a flat in Benville Road, Weymouth, on Saturday afternoon. The boy will appear before Winchester Crown Court on Friday July 27.
He was remanded to a secure unit.
