Just returned with my family from two excellent days in Weymouth.
On Sunday we were at the Live site on Weymouth beach to savour Ben Ainslie ’s gold medal victory and today we had tickets to the Nothe.
Weymouth has done itself proud everything was excellent, the ambassadors, the trains, the park and ride site; the whole experience put a smile on our faces.
The organisation was superb and the staff and volunteers friendly and courteous. As a family we had planned our visit as soon as the venue was announced.
With relations in Dorchester we have seen the preparations over the years and heard some of the moans but the experience lived up to and exceeded our expectations; we really feel that we have done the Olympics , even though we were not lucky enought to get tickets for any London events.
Well done, Dorset!
